So I'm really behind on my blogging.. I apologize. Work has been very very busy and I've not had a lot of time at home to post either. I will try to catch everyone up on all that's been going on - Gavin is still a fun, silly, crazy, rough, loveable, loud toddler! He says new things all the time and is really starting to repeat everything he hears us say. His new favorite place is the mall :-) which is totally fine with Mommy! We had a Schroder family reunion on September 14th at Gap Park. Gavin had a great time playing but it was way too hot to play much in the sun. It was nice for family members to see him and talk to him. We don't see my dad's side of the family too often so they were all really surprised at how big he's gotten.. and of course how much he looks like me!
Gavin got a big boy haircut on Friday.. he sat so well for the hair dresser. I really think he enjoys people playing with his hair because he looked like he was ready to fall asleep the whole time she was cutting. He looks so grown up with his short little hair cut! Gavin has also created a new fun game he likes to play in the kitchen. He moves all the kitchen chairs into a line and pretends it's a choo-choo train! This happens at least once a day, if not more!
We had a sports filled week together - enjoyed a Hempfield High School football game and we also went to my nephew Lucas' football game. Shayna cheers for Lucas' team and it's so fun to see them doing what they enjoy! Gavin loves to watch sports so he was having a blast! He was clapping with the cheerleaders and screaming right along with the fans :-)
On Sunday night my mother-in-law came over. Gavin is always excited to see his MeeMaw. This time she brought over a slushy. As soon as Gavin saw the drink in her hand he was running for it. She had about about 3/4 of the slushy left so of course he drank every last little bit he could get into his mouth. Needless to say, he was pretty hyper for the rest of the evening!!
Okay, enough posting for one day. I hope everyone enjoys all the photos!!
silly faces.
