Gavin's visit with GG!

On Saturday June 28th we went to visit Gavin's Great Grammie. He was such a good boy through the visit and he really put a smile on his GG's face. GG let Gavin play with her stuffed puppy dog and Gavin shared his crackers (well, a few of them!). Gavin also put smiles on many of the other resident's faces - he's just so darn cute :-) It was an enjoyable visit, one that I will treasure forever. Enjoy these photos of me, Gavin and his GG.

"getties" for dinner

I made spaghetti for dinner on Monday night - a nice and simple meal. I never thought that Gavin would eat almost half of my bowl full of noodles and sauce. He just kept asking for more - and it was great to see him eating the noodles all on his own. Of course he made a mess of himself, but it was still lots of fun to watch! The Beach Was A Blast!!!!

It's back to the daily grind but boy was vacation fun!!

Gavin was such a good boy - except for the few biting episodes. He slept like an angel and he just loved the ocean and the sand. When we were in the hotel room he wanted to be outside. In fact, that has become his new favorite word - "outside, outside, outside!" That's basically all we heard the entire vacation. Gavin enjoyed checking out the ladies - and if anyone showed him any attention he was their new best friend. He was always walking up to people on the beach just to say hi.. it was adorable! The "car-car" was a big hit too - he loved waving to the people on the tram in hopes they would wave back. He also enjoyed looking for ponies while we drove through Assateague - he actually tried to climb out of his seat when we pulled up next to one! He was just so much fun - and such a good boy! Hopefully next year we will be going back to the beach as a family of four :-) Enjoy some of the photos from our trip - I think I took just over 300 photos - I will try to post as many as I can!!

weekend fun!

Boy, weekends sure go by fast! Gavin got a hair cut Friday evening - he's such a big boy! He sat in the chair all by himself and he sat nice and still for the hair dresser. It's somewhat of a 'bowl cut' but it grows fast. I took pictures after his haircut - he was helping me wrap a birthday gift and discovered it is fun to run around chasing the dog with tissue paper. Enjoy!




Saturday morning we washed Steven's mini-van and Gavin decided to help. He really did scrub with the sponge and help Daddy with the hose. We had a great time, even though we were soaking wet with sweat when we were done! Enjoy these photos of our car washing fun!

Sunday was spent relaxing and building with blocks. These are Gavin's new favorite toys - he always wants to play with his blocks. Daddy loves to build too, so I guess I know where he gets it from. Enjoy these cute pictures of Gavin building and also - Gavin sitting on the potty. He has shown an interest in the potty lately, so I decided to sit him with the lid down, just to test it out. He didn't seem to mind, so maybe next time we will try with the lid up!

20 Months!

Gavin was 20 months old yesterday - man o man - where has the time gone?! It seems like just yesterday he was hiccuping in my belly and kicking me like crazy! Yesterday we enjoyed some water play outside in the beautiful weather. Gavin did all the playing since Mommy has a sprained foot and isn't much fun.

Gavin is just super! He is so much fun and such a happy boy. I adore being around him - he just puts a smile on my face every time I look at him :-) He is 20 months old today - I'll be sure to post his 20 month picture tomorrow. For now, enjoy these few shots that I took over the weekend.
