weekend fun!

Boy, weekends sure go by fast! Gavin got a hair cut Friday evening - he's such a big boy! He sat in the chair all by himself and he sat nice and still for the hair dresser. It's somewhat of a 'bowl cut' but it grows fast. I took pictures after his haircut - he was helping me wrap a birthday gift and discovered it is fun to run around chasing the dog with tissue paper. Saturday morning we washed Steven's mini-van and Gavin decided to help. He really did scrub with the sponge and help Daddy with the hose. We had a great time, even though we were soaking wet with sweat when we were done! Enjoy these photos of our car washing fun!

Sunday was spent relaxing and building with blocks. These are Gavin's new favorite toys - he always wants to play with his blocks. Daddy loves to build too, so I guess I know where he gets it from. Enjoy these cute pictures of Gavin building and also - Gavin sitting on the potty. He has shown an interest in the potty lately, so I decided to sit him with the lid down, just to test it out. He didn't seem to mind, so maybe next time we will try with the lid up!
