On Saturday Gavin, Steven and I went down to Uncle Wayne and Aunt Donna's house. While Steven went for a ride with the V-Chips (their motorcycle club!) Gavin and I got to hang out with Aunt Donna, play with her adorable bunnies and go to a petting zoo. Gav enjoyed petting the bunnies and actually did pretty well with them. He loved the petting zoo too and loved talking to all the different animals! He's just growing up way toooooo fast!!

On Monday we went to my parent's house for a Memorial Day picnic. Gav loves going to his Grammie and PopPop's house to play. He had a blast playing with Shayna and Lucas and hanging with the boys while my mom, Shayna and I went shopping. Shayna has a 5th and 6th grade dance this Thursday night so we had to go buy her a dress. Holy crap my little baby niece has a school dance.. yikes!!!

I was super cold at my parent's house so my dad let me wear one of his old flannels - doesn't it look lovely?! And Shayna had just eaten a blue rice krispie treat - she looks like to swallowed a blue marker!

smells like pigs.

So my son is a goof ball! We have a farm right by our house and usually each night on the way home from school/work it is pretty stinky. The other night, as soon as we passed the farm he says to me, "Mommy, I smell pigs!" Oh my gosh I start cracking up - how funny is he?!?!! So of course since he loved my reaction he says that he smells pigs each time he smells something stinky.. oh so cute!!

growing too fast.

We took a trip to WVU on Monday. Gavin was SO good in the car - it's a 4 hour drive- he does better than Mommy sometimes! Walking around town was a lot of fun; Gavin really enjoyed checking out all the buildings and flirting with the college ladies. It was really strange to walk around campus with my 2 1/2 year old son and being pregnant! Enjoy these cute photos of Gav around campus - he's growing too fast!!
The above photo is of Gavin watching Madagascar 2 on the way home.. he was laughing SO hard, it was adorable!

This next photo is of Gav playing this morning. He loves to walk around with a bag and his keys, he pretends he's going to the mall to give pizza, coffee or a pretzel.. so cute! He also has that red scarf that he likes to wear, thanks to his Grammie that brought it to him for Valentine's Day!
My boy is such a cutie!!

playground fun!

Gavin and I decided it would be fun to take a trip to the park and enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood. He absolutely loves the slides and the swing and as you can tell he had a blast! Man he's such a cutie pie and he's growing so fast!! He told me on the way to school today that he wanted a dirt bike - I looked at him and said what?! He again said I want a dirt bike. Steven told me this afternoon that he and Gav had gone to a motorcycle shop yesterday while I was working and they had a Gavin-size dirt bike there and that's what sparked it all. It was SO funny to hear my 2 1/2 year old son tell me he wants a dirt bike, oh man I am in for it when he gets older!! Enjoy these super cute photos of my bestest buddy!

photo catch up!

I do sincerely apologize for being so behind on Gavin's photos!! The first few photos were from some fun time outside.. oh my I just love his smile!!

We enjoyed a picnic at Gavin's Uncle Chris and Aunt Christy's house. It was our first time there and we had a great time! It was so nice to hang out with the brothers (Gene, Chris, Michael and Steven) and their wives/girlfriend (Judith, Christy and Amanda). I think it's safe to safe that everyone had a blast, including the kids! We shared our pregnancy news with everyone - we had Gav wear his "Big Brother" t-shirt and it was definitely a big hit. We are hoping to get together once a month, I think this would be wonderful!!We decided a couple of weeks ago that it would be nice to take a day trip to the beach. My brother-in-law Michael and his girlfriend Amanda made the trip with us. It was a beautiful day and we all had a blast!! I am so excited to go back to Ocean City, Maryland this summer for a week.. Gav's going to be so much fun =) This was also Gummy Bear's first beach trip!!Since Steven was at his motorcycle class on Mother's Day morning I decided to make one of my favorite meals for lunch with Gavin.. english muffin pizzas!! This meal (I don't even really know if it's considered a meal!) reminds me so much of my momma so I thought it was very fitting to make on Mother's Day! Boy they were SO good =)Here's my handsome fella showing of his little "sisser" whom he calls "Moses" - oh he's just adorable!!Gav has been watching a lot of golf lately and really wanted some golf stuff of his own. Steven took him shopping yesterday and found this fun golf caddy. As soon as I came home from work he was very eager to show me how he plays! Oh my he's growing up so fast - he's the next Tiger Woods!! I LOVE the way he tucks the ball under his chin so he can carry more, what a smarty pants!!
